I Don't Think So... a Blues Solo with Attitude. Late Elementary - Early Intermediate (Teens & Adult Learners)

$5.00

I Don’t Think So… a Blues Solo with Attitude for Late Elementary - Early Intermediate.

Your student will love playing “I Don’t Think So…” This piece is sarcasm in action! Have you ever had a tween or teen with those rolling eyes? This is what it sounds like! Now they have permission to show people just how they feel!

Easy Left hand that never moves out of Bass C position, gives a great foundation to the Right hand melody. The melody licks are directly taken from the C Blues scale, but told with such style! Swing is a tricky think to teach; spend some time explaining “long - short” eighth note rhythm, but students won’t mind when the piece is as infectious as this.

Key: C Blues scale.

Time signature: 4/4, Relaxed Swing. BPM = 98.

Skill development: Playing the Blues, Swing eighth notes, learning what notes to emphasize in a blues style, grace notes, make sure your staccatos are SHORT!

What level: Late Elementary/ Early Intermediate

How long: Cover + 1 page, Performance time 01:00.

This is a Single License: One purchase - One copy. Thank for honoring the composer’s work by not sharing.
