All the parts fit easily on 1 Piano, but it also feels right at home in Group Piano settings. If you are using separate pianos, there are a few places where students are asked to explore using the sustain pedal too.

Cosmic Awakening is highly patterned based to ensure easy learning for beginners of all ages. It includes a full conductor’s score and the three separate student parts, plus Backing Tracks. Key: Right hand: C Major Whole tone, Penta scale positions. Left hand: thumb on Middle C. Terzo part only uses 3 notes in each hand.

Time signature: 3/4 , BPM = 120. Nice & easy ballad.

Skill development: Explores the Whole tone scale in Right hand 5 finger hand position. Left hand thumb is on Middle C and adds B flat, A flat and G. Opportunities to identify melody vs. harmony parts, Steady beat, Staccatos vs. accents, Legato playing in the melody, and repeat signs.
