O Come All Ye Faithful, Piano Solo Arrangement for Intermediate

$5.00

O Come All Ye Faithful

This wonderful Christmas classic is a timeless favorite! I’ve enjoyed playing it in recitals, in church and at home for many years.

This arrangement is inspired by my Method Book - 20 Favorite Christmas Songs: How to Play Lead Sheets. In the book, I use this carol to teach about playing Octave patterns, slash chords, and 3 note harmonies in Right hand to make the melody sound more contemporary, like it might be played in a Praise band. Yet, this one is flashy enough to please students looking to impress as well as the traditional church pianist too!

Key: G Major, modulation to Ab Major

Time signature: 4/4. BPM = 98 with expressive tempo flexibility.

Skill development: Left hand pattern as taught in my Method Book - 20 Favorite Christmas Songs: How to Play Lead Sheets. Study this arrangement to see how many other patterns I use, as well as: identify the chord symbols, what other chord tones are included? Key changes. Expressive, Lyrical playing. Left hand technique.

Level: Intermediate to Advanced.

How long: 47 measures. 2 Pages. 2 minutes performance time.

This is a Single License: One purchase - One copy. Thank for honoring the composer’s work by not sharing with anyone. Encourage them to purchase their own copy please!
