Everyone loves to sound flashy & impressive, right? Well, I do anyway! Maybe you do too?
This is definitely a “WOW” arrangement! Fast Right hand fingers, and an “easy to play in key”, make for a great combination.
This arrangement is inspired by my Method Book - 20 Favorite Christmas Songs: How to Play Lead Sheets. In the book, I use this carol to teach about playing a Left hand pattern of Octaves. Sometimes, less is more. Let’s use Octaves, in the Left hand to punctuate the important notes in the melody. Make sure to really draw out the Molto Rits and wait on the fermata….. People will be wondering, “what’s next?!”
