Dancing Fireflies is a sweet Piano trio, just right for the girls - or anyone who loves a sweet story! Let you imagination dream of a nighttime scene full of twinkling lights and magical fireflies, dancing in the sky and lightly landing on your outreached hand…

All the parts fit easily on 1 Piano, but it also feels right at home in Group Piano settings. FREE Backing Tracks are included, but this sounds great with only the Piano parts. Grab your FREE backing tracks here.. This folder includes all the parts for example, Only Piano with drums, Only the background part, and each part highlighted for practice at home.

Dancing Fireflies has enough patterns to help students easily learn the piece. Good practice for ensembles who are learning about accompanying - who has the melody? who is the background? Can you adjust your playing accordingly?

It includes a full conductor’s score and the three separate student parts, plus Backing Tracks.

Key: D Major with minimal moving out of hand positions.

Time signature: 3/4 , BPM = 120

Skill development: Practice playing in D Major. Interesting jazz harmonies in accompaniment. Distinguishing between melody and harmony parts, Understanding elements of a song: Melody, Counter Melody, & Bass line, Steady beat, a few eighth notes in the melody, Ensemble playing.

What level: Early Intermediate. RCM Level 1-2
